New Ownership
The
good will of the Enterpriseforce customers was brought in May 2008 by the DMP
group, a presswork company on the same industrial estate. The DMP group consists
of Leslie Pole Tooling & Pressings Ltd and BMJ Manufacturing.
Enterpriseforce
In
Spring 2002 the business was brought from its previous
owners by its two senior foremen John Witney and
Bob Boothman, then running respectively the Tool Room
and Press Shop production. However its story goes back
to being founded as Presswork Products Ltd in Park Royal,
London, in Summer 1933.
History
In
its long history it has made parts ranging from the
tail-fins
for the drop tanks that enabled fighter cover over Europe
in 1943, to, much more recently, critical filter components
for nuclear power stations. We make and have made in
high volume parts ranging from miniature electronic
contacts
for the audio industry to brackets for household name
furniture manufacturers. We are the sole outside source
of precision pressings for the UK’s probably best
known lock manufacturer. Altogether we presently hold
tooling for the manufacture of over four hundred customer
components.
