Overview
We offer power and hydraulic presswork and assembly in materials from 0.2mm to 6.0mm thick for a range of industries including Electronics, Automotive and many other manufacturing sectors . We specialise in progression and pick and place presswork, as well as assembly and sheet metalwork. We have a loyal and dedicated skilled workforce, and a group turnover of £1.3m .

Capacity

  • Presswork: Up to 75 tons, with 14 power/ hydraulic presses.
  • Sheet metalwork: We can cut and fold up to 3m long x 6mm thick.
  • Assembly: Fully finished assemblies, packaged and delivered to customers requirements.
  • Welding: Mig and Tig welding and welded fabrications. Spot welding.
  • Toolmaking: Press tools designed and manufactured to customers component drawings.

Progressive, Compound Presswork & Pick Place
We offer coil and sheet fed press work services using progressive, compound of pick & place tooling as required. We offer a one stop shop service for tool design and presswork but are also happy to utilise existing customer tooling.

Materials
We work with mild & coated steel, stainless steel, aluminium as well as nickel silver, mu-metal, copper, phosphor bronze and brass. We are happy to work with free issue materials as required.

Rapid Turn Around
As well as high volume work we also carry out small batch work offering a rapid turn around and welcome quotations for all jobs no matter how small.

Quality
Full quality control is applied to all stages of the manufacturing process and all our staff are highly skilled engineers. We pay particular attention to the following elements in order to achieve delivery of consistently satisfactory components off a production line:
  • Design of component for intended purpose
  • Design of component with regard to its manufacturing process
  • Design & quality of production tooling
  • Training and experience of the setters and production operators
  • Efficiency of both planned and random inspection routines
  • Control of any finishing sub-contractors
  • Efficiency of raw material procurement
  • Efficiency of production scheduling
  • Efficiency of delivering to customer needs
